JUNE 1-JUNE 20

Jun 01, 2009 20:17

For those of you wondering how long he's going to treat the City like his own personal stomping grounds, here's how it's gonna go down for the next little while:

Today, tomorrow, and Wednesday, he continues to rampage. Those of you who are not Gamera and Mary, and still need to get your beatings in, please let me know so we can schedule you in; time is RP. Those of you who are already in the middle of beatings, let us do continue those logs in progress; they're terribly fun. :D

June 4
He comes out of Crane's hoodoo mindscrew and finally realizes that he can't keep doing this to the City. It isn't his home, and he really isn't meant to be there--he has to find his way back to where he truly belongs. He'll head for the beach, andtry to escape into the sea; an NPC force will attempt to stop him. Being who he is, he'll crush the hell out of them and make his getaway into the water.

June 6
Spotted near Japan, but will not be staying. He will be quiet for most of that week afterwards, and his radiation signature can be traced to a specific area of the ocean, where he is aimlessly swimming back and forth.

June 11
He's going to try to come back to the City and make an attempt to just exist--quietly, peacefully. A riot will go off near the coast when he appears again, but he won't hurt anyone on purpose, and will only be focused on getting to the nearest large park. Once he's there, whether or not the heroes interfere with his desire to simply stay there and do nothing other than lay there and continue to be alive is up to you--if they bother him, he'll basically hunch over and try to ignore them (until they either go away or kill him--if they kill him, he'll come back to life on the 14th). If they don't, he won't move from that spot until the 14th. He will not talk much at all, as both his English and Japanese are nearly completely gone; any communication he does will be through the comm, and very sparingly at that. He will be unable to reply vocally in anything other than Monster.

June 14
Godzilla tries to go help out in an incident in the business district, seeing news helicopters headed that way, but ends up causing decent damage and a small earthquake almost immediately because of his size. He is both chased away/decides to go back to the Park, where he continues to lay there quietly. Plant and small-animal wildlife will slowly begin to show signs of mutating in a ten-foot-wide ring around the spot where he sleeps.

June 17
He tries to head for a nearby cell phone tower and power transformer to see if he can steal energy. The South side of the City suffers a short blackout in the immediate area; Godzilla will then go back to his spot in the park. Again, if heroes bother him, he will curl over and try not to move until either killed (returning on the 21st) or left alone. The ring of plant and animal life around his resting spot is no longer mutating--it has changed too quickly to survive, and is, in fact, highly irradiated and pretty much dead.

June 20
Anyone monitoring the egg at this point might notice that it is now abruptly giving off almost exponentially-increased levels of radiation.

I'm letting you guys know these things now because I want to reassure you that he is not going to rampage endlessly throughout June. I'm also letting you know about the next three weeks or so in order to make it possible for anyone who'd like to make plans for this specific time period to do so without scrambling at the last moment--and also so that if I am stuck elsewhere or cannot play on those days, you guys know what is going on. More information will be made available later on as necessary.
