Remiiiinder + outline post
Just to remind you guys, Starscream's bid for city takeover is going down August 2nd (TOMORROW). I will probably be posting the log in the morning because I am being dragged out by my family to entertain people, and I will not be able to tag as much as I'd like as my mother will be watching me like a hawk to ensure that I am not posting from my phone. WHATEVER.
Given that I imagine the log is going to be a slow-burn, I figured we should work out in advance a basic idea of what is happening so that you all know how to react afterwards and we don't have plot-limbo. To the villains involved, PLEASE let me know if this is all okay with you! Obviously, the details of this plot (For instance, Metabee and Pete Cheney epically punching out a robot at the same time, or Slade quietly re-programming all of Starscream's robots, things like that) will happen in the logs; this is just so that we don't spend nine days going "WELL UH, WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED ON MONDAY AGAIN???" Plot limbo: it sucks.
Icly, a few hundred ground and air drones will descend upon a three block radius around the Empire State Building. The main ground forces will be remotely controlled by Slade; they are semi-autonomous, but require some direction. Master, Sentinel Prime, and Mecha-Sonic will go in on the ground floor to subdue the security guards and keep everyone inside busy.
From the air, Starscream, Shockwave, Dr. Horrible, Slipstream, and Terrorsaur will descend upon the observation deck and radio antenna, planting nanobots which will begin constructing the machine from a subspace reserve and also materials present in the building.
Shockwave will have Waspinator in tow. Zero and I worked out that Waspinator will be captured Sunday night and that this will involve a lot of flailing, punching, and otherwise screeching; he'll be sedated right about until Starscream and Shockwave start putting him into the machine.
Sentinel Prime will eventually meet up with the team on top of the building; everyone else can just do as they please. After that, there will be some discussion, Wasp will be strapped into the machine, wake up, and freak out; Sentinel will have second thoughts and begin to sabotage the thing just as The Heroes start to arrive at the top.
Then there is An Epic Fight; somewhere in there Starscream is pwn'd by Jamiebeetle and killed by Waspinator; the energy from his death will cause the malfunctioning machine to activate, turning some people and inanimate objects into robots.
In game-time, these events will probably take around two hours or so, starting at noon. Ergo, at 2:00 PM City-time, 1. Starscream will be dead, and 2. Bucky's microwave will start viciously attacking him.
OTHER THAN THAT? DO WHAT YOU WANT. Slade, Master, Sonic, and Dr. Horrible; if you guys want to engage in your own brand of backstabbery and/or fleeing, feel free as long as it doesn't change the above too drastically. Want to call off the drone troops and let civvies go? Fine by me! Want to fight among yourselves? Also fine! Want to be the ones to tell the heroes exactly where this is going on? Awesome!
As a reminder, Starscream is NOT making a comm post. Others (precogs or people who are there) are absolutely free to go "HOLY HELL GUYS ROBOTS"

As a final, and rather sad note, this will be my last plot in CnC. I am dropping both Starscream and Kon after this plot, though I'll obviously continue to thread in it until everything is done. I'll... have a more proper post once that happens.
