ooookay this post is probably a long-time coming but for awhile I had no ideas where to go so maybe just a post to center all these plans about is a good thing.
Um I think the list of people involved/can jump in if they want include Toastbat, Cap, Cal, Nai, Laih, the rest of the police cast, and Jill, Tussah, or Ty if they want.
It's undecided when, but Saitou's going to get fed-up with all this avoiding-arrest business and head over to the precinct like "LOLO HEY GUYS SUP" and all so there's that. The thing is is that obvs. he's going to need a lawyer of some sort fff so there's that to figure out.
Nai's told me that basically the only physical evidence of the crime from back in July is that Cavil has kept his bloody clothes from the incident and there is a sword-like cut on his sleeve from where Saitou sliced his. arm off ahaha.., anyhow. She mentioned though that that evidence could possibly be destroyed, since Cavil doesn't have those with him? Cal's also mentioned that Kiryu might intervene with whatever story Saitou is trying to spin up and admit that he was the one that killed Cavil, not Saitou. Since technically Saitou has actually not confessed to killing him, but it can be pretty much proven well enough that he was there when Cavil was killed.
But yeah right now Saitou is looking up lawyers ahead of time, Cap mentioned that she might have Alastair talk to Tony-boss and see if he has one or five to spare. And Ty with Phoenix I wasn't sure if you wanted to think on it anymore ^^; Lemme know, no worries if you don't.
In summary, the events and evidence that the police would be aware of is thus:
- Cavil was killed late July and Saitou was present
- Saitou admitted to Elisa during their interview that if Cavil ever got out he would kill him "again," as mentioned here in this publicly-viewable thread eh-heh
- I remember giving Tobyfs the go-ahead for Barbara to be able to get access to any privated threads Saitou has with Cavil, as long as they're not with Cavil's encryptions cause that's Nai's place to give permission, so.

--- before the murder occurs however Cavil's replies are encrypted, whereas Saitou's replies are not. So those are the ones that can be seen
