UPDATE REQUESTS;; to get new and improved

In an effort to streamline both the plot post and the port-out request system, the various Updates you can do to your poor defenseless characters are getting their own post!
LET'S START WITH SOME QUESTIONS.
When do I have to use this?
Anytime you want to A) send your character home to have them catch up on their canon or B) change or add to their powerset! We advise you to use it sparingly and too many power increases/canon updates will be denied, but if you want your character to be brought up-to-date in an ongoing canon, this is the place to be!
What's the procedure for an update?
Both canon updates and power changes require the character in question to be 'Ported out of the City for a minimum of 24 hours, and a maximum of... Well, there isn't one! Just don't leave it for too long, yeah? Once they're back, they'll have their new memories and/or powers. Also, you must notify the OOC community about your character's port-out, though you can be as fuzzy on the details if you want, if you want it to be a surprise.
Can I do both at once?
Yes! You can also include a power or canon update in a character death, but for that, you'll still be wanting the Plot Post, as with the old rules.
Is zero a prime or composite number?
Zero doesn't do math. B|
Player: Duh!
Character: Necessary.
Fandom: Just to be clear.
Type of update: Canon, Power, or both!
Current powerset: If updating powers
Specifics: How far are they being updated to? Is there anything groundbreaking we should know about? What's the new power they're getting?
Comments are screened, in case any of the details are sensitive. General questions will be left unscreened, though!
