Kuwabara was beginning to think his usually uncanny instincts were failing him. He'd though, you know, if he wanted find the being that had killing Urameshi, he could. He could trust whatever psychic sense of direction had been granted him via inheritance. Never mind that he was the worst psychic he'd ever heard of. Or maybe it was the fact that he wasn't keen on wailing on what had been described on a little girl. Either way, he'd led Hiei and Kurama completely out of the City, which... Seemed kinda off. Hell of a crawl.

Finally, he looked up, and they were in the middle of nowhere, and he said, "She's waiting." Turning to look at the others, his hesitance to keep forward might have been obvious. She was a girl, young, and he just couldn't quite get himself to rush her, deceiving appearances and revenge aside. He shrugged, shook his head, and knew Hiei would say something smart about it.

He was tired, confused, and very angry above it all. "Plan? Or just... Guns a'blazing?"

Ordinarily Kurama would have objected to this plan. Being the only member of his team with a brain cognition of basic stratagems, he generally took it upon himself to think for the rest of them... or at least plan ahead for their inevitable intellectual failures.

But now he really didn't care. Didn't care that he had sworn never to use Yoko's power. Didn't care that he wasn't planning. He would angst think about that later.

"Hiei," he said simply, glancing over at the other demon. Hiei had always been more vocal about his anger than the fox--and, if he were honest with himself, far superior in the realm of frontal attacks. Kuwabara would catch on quickly enough.

Hiei no doubt had something biting to say about Kuwabara's hesitance--but he would save it for later, when he wasn't seething with rage and hurt and battle strategies.

"We take her together. Keep her surrounded. She took out Yusuke--" he indulged himself in a sharp glance at Kuwabara, "--so stay sharp."

With that said, Hiei started the rush himself, taking up a fast pace but making sure his speed was regulated to match the considerably lesser paces of Kuwabara and Kurama.

Once their footsteps were audible, Riful spoke.

"This is terribly rude of you, you know."

Although her posture seemed to stay relaxed, her senses were working overtime, and the threat of her outstretched arms (which could totally turn into tentaclefest 2010 instantly) was obvious. Riful's natural (and self-centered) curiosity, however, was was just as engaged as her sense of self-preservation; there was no purpose in staying for a fight if she didn't engage them in a way that made their limits known to her.

"Coming in without so much as an introduction," she continued, shaking her head sadly, "and trying to sneak up on me? That's just unforgivable. But I think I can find it in my heart to allow it, this once, since I know why you're here."

Was the speech unnecessary? The question was irrelevant, really! After all, she was confident that she would be the victor.
