[ Felicia, meanwhile, was sitting on the roof of the place, idly fiddling with her goggles. She wanted to do something -- something bigger than just hitting another museum. It got boring when there was no chase. Or motivation. And right now, both were lacking.

She kept her eyes open, peering around the city for potential action. ]

[ As he eats, Pete quietly recalls speaking with Bruce, and Bruce telling him that "normal was overrated," but sitting here with a cool breeze, a warm lunch, and a cool drink, at the moment he couldn't have disagreed more. He took a very happy bite, but jerked forward and set the hamburger down for a moment. ]

[ Felicia leaned more against the ledge, peering disinterestedly down at the people below.

That is, until she realized she recognized one of them. She paused for a moment, debating what to do -- then leapt from the roof, landing beside his table. ]

Well, small world.

[ He paused eating and stared for a minute, half chewed food pressed to his cheek. How fabulously heroic he must have looked, eating lunch with a ketchup stain on his shirt.

He gave a glance both ways and then finally back to her, coughing. ]

Er... [ He offered a tiny, awkward wave. ] Hey.
