Ghost was in a different room. Or rather, a wall. The subway lines had been adjusted, the car was due to ramp onto them nice and smooth. He'd been able to do this completely unseen, then had slipped back into one of the platform's walls, monitoring the situation. Perfectly set-up disaster.

Communicator. Ghost blinked down at the device, it being intangible as he held it, and responded lowly.

"... Reporting."

Takaya, doing his best to stay mainly out of sight and in an unfrequented area of the subway, considering the fact that there was no real way he couldn't look suspicious. He answered his communicator, sounding something between bored and expectant.

"Present."

"Ghost. Good. Status on progress?" Eddie bit his lower lip in concentration. Osborn was due fifty-seven seconds after the system altered a problem, and that would need to be stimulated without risking a serious situation. The seconds fell from his fingers.

On the other line, he had his special wildcard. Not necessarily someone he'd clue in the others about--with the exception of Ghost--due to certain perceptions and presentations. But Eddie wasn't about to pull the moral soapbox on good talent.

"Splendid. Without being seen, pick out someone--preferably a lovely woman, those always sell well--and at your convenience, ensure she's on the tracks within the next seventy-two seconds. Whatever means necessary." Eddie paused, caught by an after thought. "Ensure she's alive when on the tracks."

He was curious to watch this fellow Takaya. Already done alerting Norman about the civilian soon-to-be-on the tracks, Eddie leaned back in his swivel chair.

It didn't take long to get Invincible on the wire once Norman was alerted that the plan was moving forward -- he didn't need the whole Avengers team for this one, but someone who could fly was necessary to get there efficiently. And strong, to actually stop the trains from colliding.

At 5:46 he flew down into a subway tunnel, helmet reeling off coordinates and displaying glowing green maps of the inner infrastructure of the subway lines, dots alerting him of exactly where the trains in question were.

"This way, we're almost there!" He called to Mark, voice mechanized from his armor.

[Sorry for being so late!]

Mark did follow closely behind, waiting for the Iron Patriot to have a plan ready by the time they got there. He exhaled quickly, trying to control his coordination--it seemed the more he used his powers, the more they increased, the more control he needed to learn to use them--until he heard those last words. He had to talk loudly; their speed and the wind currents made it harder to distinguish what they said.

"How much time do we have?"

(It's okay! I gave you short notice. :()

"I can't say for sure. I think that--" Although Norman knew the timetables for the accident, he had to maneuver as if they were functioning almost blindly. He took a sharp turn, and accelerated.

"... Right up ahead. I can hear them. We aren't too late, but it'll be close."
