Lorna spent a great portion of the day meditating, keeping herself calm and ready for the conversation that they were about to all have together. She found that meditation helped keep her strong, as it was something that helped her when she was falling apart at the seams. Sometimes she felt like she could fall apart at any second by just knowing Pestilence might be able to take her over once more.

She'd fight it with all she had. Her body was her own, and she was not up for something else taking her over. Not ever again, no.

Eventually she found Remy, and entered the room. "Hello," she greeted, looking him over. It was obvious he was anxious, and the fact made Lorna a little anxious. All the worries she had pushed out of her system came rolling back, but she tried to ignore them for the time being.

He'd been thinking about getting up and pacing some more. It seemed the only thing he could rightfully control at the moment, with his hands starting to shake the more he smoked, his throat raw and nearly burnt by how many cigarettes he'd finished in the past twenty five minutes. She sat down in the nearest chair, crossing her legs before speaking. How was she? Well, she was still annoyed Alex had gone on vacation with his little girlfriend, and upon seeing Remy, she did feel a little nervous.

"I suppose, just a little," she replied. "And you?"

He played the calm and collected fool. For her sake. A smile spread across his face, widening as he spoke. "Well, fille: t'be perfectly honest?" he shifted a bit, then bent both of his arms, placing each hand behind his head. "--Couldn't be better, now dat you here. Feels like we might really get somet'ing done if we all throw our heads at it."
