At the start of a new week Suzi was back in the X-Mansion going through her homework to get ready for classes. After meeting with Professor Lupin, Suzi was more determined than ever to just finish up the work she needed to complete in order to graduate. Then she could actually start studying the things she wanted to study instead of just getting by.
Reviewing a historical model of European relations, Suzi thought she could use another reference from the library. She set down her notes and walked over to the door to peek out into the hallway before heading towards the library, cautiously walking around the X-Mansion.
Living in the X-Mansion again was mostly great for Suzi. She hadn't the means to live on her own just yet so it was a safe place to be. She'd also missed feeling ties to her family, her old team and Dr. MacTaggert by being near other mutants. It had helped her a lot. And made her feel better about being an X-Man and carrying the responsibilities that came along with it. There had been good reasons to come back. Except for one.
Suzi once again peered through another door before entering a room, checking to see if it was Scott-free--which made Suzi chuckle somewhat hysterically--before heading down another hallway. Seeing Scott still made Suzi upset. And she hadn't wanted to talk him knowing that she was angry. But all the other X-Men trusted him. And he was their leader. Or something like that. Suzi sighed. It was fair plan. She was never going to be alone with him in a room again.
