Soundwave doesn't see himself as needing Shockwave, but he's rather fond of him and would loathe that someone else become as important to the scientist. Soundwave would rather be the most important. "Nothing" is an absolute lie, as well. Finding himself at a lack of words -- rather terrible for a communications officer -- Soundwave just shrugs in response. Not very helpful.]
