Mara's weird week was just getting weirder and weirder. So when she'd heard about the party, she'd decided she'd go. She didn't say anything, and there were reasons for that. She didn't want to appear as ignorant as she was about the holiday. Sure, there was Life Day back home, which was similar enough, but still. She felt out of place around the holiday, too many things she didn't understand. A fat guy? A baby? It was ridiculous! She'd done her research, but the facts of the holiday got her nowhere, so here she was.

Drinking.

Well, at least it had that going for it.

Sarah was shape-shifted into Selina, wearing a slinky black dress that normally she wouldn't have had the nerve to wear. She was slightly nervous, but honestly, this was what she was made for, and giving Selina an alibi was more important than any faint anxiety she might be feeling. She had a glass of bourbon in her hand, but mostly for show. God knows she didn't want to make any mistakes tonight.

Sally had been on the comms long enough to know what fellow teammate Selina Kyle looked like. After having a few pleasant chats with the woman over her communicator, she was looking forward to finally meeting the mysterious woman in the flesh. Having spotted the familiar-looking woman, Sally smiled and finished the first of the many drinks she'll probably consume tonight.

Don't worry, she holds her liquor well. She's hung out with plenty of men to know how.

Sally was wearing simple yellow dress, even though yellow wasn't exactly a wintery colour. After years of wearing her Silk Spectre costume, though, she had grown accustomed to the colour, and she believed that she looked good in yellow. She approached "Selina", and put out her hand for a shake.

"Pleasure meeting you in the flesh."

Sarah-as-Selina nodded, smiling slightly. She'd spent some time practicing Selina's smile, getting it right.

"And you," she said, shaking Sally's hand. "Nice of you to put this together."

Once she started talking, the anxiety began to slip away. She could do this. Tilting her glass of bourbon towards Sally, she toasted her and then took a sip.

Axel wasn't big on Christmas. He had vague memories of it from when he was a kid, a human. Family and presents and dinner. The memories were generally pleasant. But they didn't include all of this... music... stuff. He swore that music had been playing for months now, and it was starting to grate on his last nerve.

The redhead walked in to the bar and looked around, hanging his usual black trenchcoat on a hook by the door. He was dressed rather more flashily than his usual "black tee, black pants, black boots" ensemble. He had on a colorful and bright flame-colored keffiyeh-like scarf over a black half-sleeve shirt. He had on blue jeans with colorful patches of cloth on the bottoms of them over his black boots.

He took a seat at the bar and looked around. Not many people here yet. That suited the Nobody just fine.
