The bell above the door jingles as Danny steps in. He looks around, wary of the source of the chi-disruption. He's not quite sure what he's expecting, but considering his last chi-power encounter... Yeah. He's kind of pleasantly surprised to find the flow of chi was coming from a woman.

A very familiar looking woman.

Huh.

He walks over to her table and motions to the seat across from her.

"Is this seat taken?"

Wu looks up from her tea at the newcomer and just stares. What the hell is a white man doing in a respectable Chinese tea shop?

"... no."

Well, she won't find out if she makes him go away, right?

Sitting down and ordering tea, of course. A high quality green tea, to be exact. Man, it is almost like he was raised in an Asian culture.

He smiles at her crookedly. Not... really sure where to go from here, nope.

Well that's unusual. Wu and the owner of the store exchange surprised looks over Danny's shoulder.

Experimentally, Wu tries speaking Mandarin to the stranger. If he can't understand, she'll switch back to English, but if not, she'd rather hold conversations in a civilized language.

The dialect she uses is common tongue to her, but in the modern day, her speech is quite archaic and somewhat formal.
