Since Megan had done her damage and basically left before Kitty could say anything, she had had a few days to cool down. Instead of cooling down, however, the thought of meeting up with Megan again to find out exactly what the hell was going on had fired her up. Kitty didn't really like to be angry, especially at her friends, but she felt that she deserved some sort of explanation as to why Megan was digging through her subconscious for extremely painful memories and then broadcasting them to the world at large.

Megan wasn't home, yet, though, so Kitty had been occupying herself with things around the house. Playing, working out, hanging with the Titans, whatever-- anything to keep her mind off of Megan.

Making her way upstairs to grab a sweater (since she was kind of wearing her pajamas-- what? It was vacation!) and a book so she could get a little reading done, Kitty immediately spotted Megan upstairs. Oh heck yes, Megan was going to have a word with her, whether she liked it or not ( ... )

"Haven't had a reason to be around."

Her voice was cool, smoother than her hostess's usual tone, but she didn't much care to worry about it right now.

"I just came back for my phone, I'm going now."

Kitty was not about to let Megan get away from this conversation. She stood her ground staunchly, arms crossed over her chest. This really wasn't like Megan-- or maybe she just didn't know her as well as she thought she did. The thought pricked the back of her mind but right now she had bigger things to deal with.

"No. We need to talk about what happened at dinner."

And that was that.

She could be very stubborn when she wanted to be.

M'stra stood up from where she'd been crouched by the side-table, tucking the phone into her pocket. Oh she didn't have time to have some kind of heart to heart with this little bitch...

"We have nothing to talk about."
