Dick had been alert since he'd come back from school, staying in his room with the door slightly opened (he was playing a dangerous game making that decision considering Wally was a speedster) so he would hear if something happened.

He didn't miss when Wally came out of his room in a panic, and walked out of his room to see the result, only to be met with a Kid Flash running into a wall.

If Dick had been cruel by nature, he'd have laughed at the scene, but instead he became immediately very worried that something was seriously wrong with Wally. And the dye had been a prototype -- what if it'd affected Wally's eyes or something?

He quickly approached Wally, still on the ground, and asked frowning deeply and concerned, "Hey, you okay?"

Dick cried out a "hey" and brought his hand to where Wally had just hit him out of reflex. Maybe Wally had pink hair, but Dick had spent the last ten minutes trying to make him feel better about his power loss. Wally had the worst mood swings ever and changed his mind way too quickly about things.

Freaking speedster. Dick was glad that Tim hadn't become that way because he now had superspeed. It'd be freaky and he doubted they'd have become friends that way.

"Awesome, you just remembered. Took you enough time."

Wally gave Dick a very indignant look which was quickly followed by the mature act of sticking out one's tongue. He wasn't nearly as angry as he made himself out to be though. The power thing was more upsetting still but he really couldn't keep walking around with his hair like this. That matter was slightly more pressing.

So time to go fetch dye.

"Right, I'm going out but....thanks." For calming me down. To get this point across Wally gestured to the wall and managed a half-smile before he zipped away to go find a suitable hair dye.
