Jean-Paul was already at the club, enjoying himself. He was having a blast. This was so much fun. Granted, he had no idea what he was signing himself up for. He had been clubbing before, but never here. He had arrived about five minutes before Alastair, mostly due to the fact that Jean-Paul was bored and had nothing for him to do.

Spotting Alastair, he grinned, walking over to him. Jean-Paul was wearing a tight black t-shirt and looser jeans. "Alastair! Sorry if I'm a bit early. That's the price you pay for inviting a super-speedster with an open schedule."

"We're a couple," Jean-Paul said matter of fact. However, there was that small hint of a smile on his face. "We went on our first date two weeks or so ago. C'est magnifique." He looked over at Alastair. "Bizarrely, I had a lot of fun."

"Ah, bien, bien," Alastair responded before he could catch himself. "Well, lucky you, then. But what's so bizarre about having fun? It's not like you're not capable of it - I've seen it. So I know it's possible."

He didn't move away at all, and probably wouldn't stop flirting. It wouldn't go beyond that, though - for all his faults and selfishness, Alastair wouldn't break up a friend's relationship. That, after all, would be betrayal, something he didn't stand for.
