Thor was, as usual, making a scene.
After the dramatic appearance of the Norse god, the reality-bending mutant and poor ant-bitten Janet, the doctors had quickly strapped her to a stretcher and rushed her in without question. And now it was a matter of waiting, and as the astonished patients in line watched them with wariness in their gaze, Thor attempted to make himself useful in the way he knew how: Praying.
Kneeling on a cushion he'd found, Thor had his hammer in front of him, his eyes closed. He could not hear his father's voice in this place and he'd had no contact from anyone in Asgard, but that did not stop him hoping that they might hear him somehow.
Despite his good intentions, the god's fervent devotion to prayer were making the patients more than a little nervous. On the sidelines, nurses could be seen conferring about what to do with the man holding a scary medieval weapon in the middle of their waiting room.
