When Elisa was paged with a visitor, she figured it was her contact for the information about the arms smuggling. She didn't even know how she was going to investingate this case, but at the same time, this was Big, and could be a way to get an entire crime ring down, not just the leader.

She walked up to a young man standing in front of the information desk, and assumed it was her contact. "I'm Detective Maza, how can I help you?"

This was the first time Heero had met her in person, though he recognized her as one of the more active of the police force on the Network. It was part of why he'd decided to contact her.

"So, Mr. Zero, what can I do for you?"

He followed her lead in silence, eyes taking stock of the station's security out of habit. Heero had been half-expecting her to remark on how he was "just a kid" like so many OZ soldiers did when they met him, or the others, face to face. They were young, certainly, but none of them were really children anymore, and he appreciated the detective reserving judgement about his age. When she gestured for him to sit, he did so, arms crossed. "The title's not necessary," he said. "It's just a codename." He admitted to the fact easily enough; codenames were common practise here from what he'd gathered, and his use of it instead of his actual name would most likely be seen as a precautionary tool-- which it was ( ... )
