The pool was as big as Tony Stark's ego though he heard the mansion was originally owned by Captain America before the porter took him home. Still, there was no doubt in Cable's mind that Tony made renovations on the mansion itself after Cap's departure. As far as Tony knew, the Avengers were his and Cable was going to give him a rude awakening in his...own special way.
Tabby, Sam, and Cable spent the day decorating the pool and patio for the party. Sam and Tabby primarily took care of decorations while Cable laid out the snack table and a cooler of Molson for Wolverine. Sam's country music collection was playing quietly in the background when they were finished.
Cable was proud of his kids. With everyone set and ready, he got dressed in one of the outdoor changing rooms and kicked back in a lounge chair. He slipped cool blue glasses over his eyes and watched the guests pour in.
