[ Mazikeen was not entirely certain what to expect from the son of Hades when he had told her he would come to her, but she can tell the moment he begins to appear behind her; there is a shift in the way things feel, like the pooling of power. She turns and look at him blankly for a moment before moving along the length of the bar to pour him a glass of water. She offers it to him, silently. The glass extended out between the both of them, she bows her head towards him in a sign of greeting but also respect. ]

Impressive.

[ It takes him a moment or two to focus on that; he's still very out of breath from his trip. When he does notice, he returns her bow, then accepts the water. A moment's hesitation; then he takes a long, gulping drink. ]

Th-thanks.

[ She watches him drink silently for a moment, her eyes moving slowly over him -- measuringly. She nods again in acknowledgment and then gestures towards one of the bar stools for him to sit. ]

Does it always tire you to do so.

[ He does so. Glances around at the bar, a little curiously; he hasn't exactly been in one of these before. Not often, anyway. ]

Yeah. I've -- I've been practicing it a lot, so it's not as hard as it used to be.

Most of the dead. ... Father won't let me see my mother. And reborn souls aren't there.

[ She looks at him for a long moment, considering whether or not to ask her next question. When she does, it's neutrally. ]

Does your father acknowledge you.

[ He pauses. Then nods, slowly. And smiles a little. ]

Not all the time. But saving Mount Olympus from the Titans isn't an achievement he can ignore.

[ Her eyes narrow, slightly, though her mouth echoes his. ]

That is a tale you must certainly swear to tell. If not now, then one day, young lord.
