A black pinstripe suit with matching pants. Red tie.

Pink hair.

This was about as classy as Tank got, most of the time. And she knew that although she could rock her normal duds, and, really, what was the devil gonna do about it? Roll his eyes? Magic her into something more fitting? Nothing, really. But, still, she dressed up for the occasion. A suit was good, here and there, for the proper event.

And so, here she was. Waltzing up to the bar, grinning.

"Whiskey."

Unfortunately for Tank, Lucifer would be otherwise preoccupied playing Night and Day in one of the far-off corners of the bar, his hands gracing the piano keys as though the thing meant more to him than anything else in the world.

Whiskey first. Company later. Once she had gotten her hands ahold of a glass and felt the liqour draining down her throat, she felt proper fitted to do a little chat with the owner of the place.

But don't interrupt. She merely walked up, and listened.

He gave her the barest of smiles as she approached, closing his eyes as he came to the end of the song. She looked...proper, in her own way, and it amused him that she would cloth herself so merely on his account.

Once the song ended and the applause died away to chatter, Lucifer turned to her, giving her his undivided attention.

"As you can see, I've gone rather more low-key than I've heard your opening was."

The Major was there, looking more immaculate than usual with his suit freshly cleaned, hair well-groomed, spectacles polished, and so on. He looked around the place, glass of champagne in hand. So good to be in a place with some dignity and class!

Almost immediately after his second performance, Lucifer showed up at the Major's side with a wry, pleased grin stretched across his features. The night was going rather well, all things considered.

"Enjoying yourself, I hope?"

"Yes, quite immensely as a matter of fact!" The Major said with enthusiasm. "I don't really frequent these kinds of establishments often, but you know, I think I really like this one. Congratulations on its creation!"

"I take it and thank you in return for coming, Herr Major."

He nodded, sipping at his glass of wine.

"Though a thought does occur to me."

There was probably some joke in a lapsed Catholic visiting a bar owned by Lucifer. But when it came right down to it, a bar was a bar and Selina liked bars. Besides, Tank's opening had been interesting enough.

Selina observed the crowd from the stool she was perched on, glass of red wine in hand. And yes, maybe she'd dressed up a bit for the occasion, but that was because she enjoyed dressing up, not because of the company.

And yet, the company still appreciated the sentiment. Lucifer -- well, he basically showed up next to Selina nursing his own glass of red wine, his small smile actually genuine, for once. He had not expected anyone from Gotham to attend the opening, all told.

"Well met, Ms. Kyle."

And there was the man himself. Selina recognized him from their little encounter when Del had first arrived.

Funny, seems she existed this time.

"Nice place," she said, tone neutral.

"Thank you."

He took a small sip of his wine, scanning the room in the interim.

"I trust the aesthetics aren't too similar to any of the bars in Gotham?"

Starscream arrived flanked by his two lieutenants, Soundwave and Shockwave, and all three of them were dressed to kill. Starscream wore a black suit with red pinstripes and a matching fedora, a dark red shirt, and, of all things, a gold tie. Finally, he wore a pair of red tinted sunglasses with black rims - to hide his red eyes. Somehow, the look worked on him.

There would be no dancing tonight, however. While it turned out that he hadn't actually sprained his ankle that badly and would probably recover within the week, the doctor had still insisted on an ankle brace, and his slight limp was evident despite his efforts to hide it.

It was no great loss, however. Starscream was not much of a dancer. Sliding up to the bar, he ordered a vodka martini (up, with olives), then turned to watch the crowd.

Clothing seems so needlessly flamboyant. Not unlike Cybertronians who took ridiculous pride in their brightly colored paint jobs, dressing this way does not seem to bear much point to him. But he supposes if they are to fit in for the night, it is a requirement. Thus, it is accepted ( ... )

Shockwave was not amused, and the cold emotionless look on his face conveyed that fact very well. This was pointless, there was no reason to go to this little Grand-Opening thing. He could be doing something far more productive right now.

Yet, here he was.

Dressed in a charcoal coloured suit complete with a dark purple shirt underneath, and a lighter purple tie. Purple was almost always evident in his choice of clothing, it had quickly become a personal preference of his since his arrival to the City. He too sported a fedora, not his choice really, but it didn't matter to him. And where Starscream and Soundwave had sunglasses, Shockwave had contacts; making his eyes a rather bright green. He'd gotten quite used to wearing them at this point, despite the fact that putting them in basically involved poking your eye.

"Was coming here really necessary?" His voice was oh so deadpan.

"I rather feel it was," responds Starscream nonchalantly, sipping his martini. "Listen. Appearing at social venues helps to give us an image of legitimacy. Music keeps Soundwave happy, and besides, it'd do you some good to get out of the lab."

"Live a little, Shockwave."

Harleen was dolled up and ready for her debut at the Lux that night. Her hair was done up with flowers and her freshly stolen dress was ironed and fit like a glove. Who said Harley couldn't be classy? Though maybe the red lipstick threw off everything else. Whatever. It was her thing.

She got up on stage, ordering the pianist around like a true prima donna and sang a slew of jazz songs. The jester wasn't all pop and rock. After her final number, she decided to take a break--er, give some spot light time for the other acts that night.

Harley stepped off the stage and helped herself to some red wine at the bar.

After a little chat with the devil - well, why not mingle? It helped that the gal could sing, and was hot besides. Tank liked both sides of the aisle, so to speak, but she tended to lean towards those who had less in the crotch and more on the chest.

Plunked herself down next to the gal, zero hesitation.

"Oy. Nice singin', there."

"Last song was a morbid kind of romance."

Five seconds and she already had someone complimenting her! Harley did a mental victory fist pump and beamed at her new admirer.

She was a spunky looking girl. Harley simply loved the color coordination. Red, black, and pink? Yes, please! This City had so many cool chicks--Harley was so used to the guy rogues and Poison Ivy and Batgirl being jerks with Supergirl that she forgot there were other cool chicks in the sea.

Harley siiiighed, "It's one of my favorites."

It certainly got her out of a tough spot or two. Batman, you jerk.

"Never heard it before. Is it an original?" Tank kept on, swirling around a refilled glass of whiskey, sucking on what was left of her cigarette. Girl sounded like the romantic type - wasn't just singing the songs, but letting her life out through the songs.

Which could mean good things, and bad things. Especially that last song.

Good thing Tank was crazy.
