He wasn't sure whether or not to come at all. Sure not having any worries had him not troubling over the fact that Kiryu could always turn around and kill him at any moment. He knew Kiryu dispised him and hearing him wanting to forgive him was something he never expected.

These polymorphs may have served an even greater deed then what he first thought.

He spotted Kiryu at the swing set and approached Kiryu. Waiting until he got within a few steps, he spoke up first.

"You wanted to meet me here?"

that is a terrible warning. gallitrap June 13 2009, 02:38:49 UTC
The park itself was easy to find, and Ruka arrived shortly. She didn't know why Kiryu wanted to meet with her, but it looked as though both Yuusei and Aki would be there, as well.

Regardless, she kept her three most important possessions in her pockets: her communicator, her taser, and her deck.

Yuusei was easy to spot at a distance - so the person on the swing must have been Kiryu. Ruka approached with caution, not yet speaking.

Aki knew what had happened to her, but she missed her anger. It helped protect her, and the fact that she was lacking that protection now...?

It wasn't pleasant.

She didn't know why Kiryu wanted to meet with her, though she'd seen who else would be there. The thing that worried her was her powers - they were next to useless right now. Of course they would be. Her anger was part of what fueled them, and... she wasn't angry. It was the oddest feeling. Her hair clip was giving her a headache, so she'd taken it out and pinned her bangs back with some pins that she'd found instead, then just one to meet him.

Her arm started burning when she closed in - instinctively she grabbed it, holding it to her chest, and felt... nothing, really. Which was odd, normally she hated the thing.

Nothing for it.

Aki walked up to where the other figures were grouped.

Kiryu looked up when Yuusei spoke and nodded, sticking his deck back in its holder. He stood up around when Ruka arrived and looked around to see if Aki would be there at the same time.

And his mark lit up.

He reached over to cover the light, a little uncomfortable with that. Right now, he didn't want that reminder. He was glad his gloves had gotten longer and covered his mark.

At least he couldn't seem to switch forms right now. He didn't want to.

He flashed Aki a smile when he noticed her approaching. He'd almost been worried she wouldn't come. And she was probably the one who needed to the most.

"I'm glad you guys came," he said, his hand tightening on his arm. "I know I haven't given you any reason to trust me."
