Maya, meanwhile - was meditating. Seated right under the nearby sprinkler - she was training. The truth was, she was still wary to try channeling - she had tried to channel Mia already. And failed. Several times. And to her knowledge, no one had died in the city - so it's not like she could try those.

But she still had to keep practicing. If her powers went dull and she needed them. Well... she didn't want a repeat performance of what happened with Mr. Edgeworth's trial, even if that had been a while ago.

Plus, at this point, it was a habit. A sprinkler was better than the fire department (who had kicked her out when she had asked to stand under the hose ...), but it wasn't quite a freezing waterfall.

Nonetheless, she was still meditating, totally lost to the world.

Hmm, something about the tree seemed odd when she checked how many nutrients it was getting. Water? Strange...

So there had to be somewhere where she could get some. The fountain in the park had rusted over, and was awaiting maintenence. So that meant that either tapping into the plumbing system, which would be very noticible, or...catching something from the sprinklers. Yes, Sample #337b could benefit nicely.

However, it seemed someone else was occupying the Sprinklers when she arrived. E.V.E. stared at the girl, who was sitting there.
