After all the trouble of recent weeks, Yuugi had decided he and the Other Yuugi desperately needed a fun evening. Between the month long disappearance and the broken arm, plus the sudden addition of two new housemates, there hadn't been a moment to relax. But his birthday (his other self's birthday) was just around the corner. What better way to celebrate than with a trip to the arcade?

And he really wanted to see how he matched up to Dark Yuugi at fighting games.

He'd quickly pointed out one such game on arrival, a four player high-tech machine that made loud whooping noises every time a character attacked. Yuugi put all his focus into doing his best, even though he didn't expect to win. As far as he knew, his Other Self remained undefeated, even in The City.

To be honest, Dark Yuugi never bothered with the new arcade games, not that he didn’t want to try them out. He just wanted to play simpler things like Tetris, Shooting Zombies in the Face, or Pinball. It was cheaper too, thinking about it.

But this must’ve been what Yuugi wanted for his birthday and well, he complied.

Staring down at the machine that Yuugi chose, he blinked and furrowed his brow. How was he going to maneuver the joystick and buttons with one hand? Turning his attention to his partner, he grinned in confidence. If this was what he wanted to play, then he’d figure out how with just his right hand, no matter how challenging it would be!

“Are you ready, partner?” He asked while digging out the change in his pocket.

Maya was walking around trying to figure out which game to try. She wanted to try something new - maybe a shooting game or fighting game or something. (She wondered for a second if she should have brought Nick, even though he was busy. He could have paid, after all...)

Her thoughts were distracted by the funkiest hair she had ever seen. "Woah!" It was spiky and big and... was it... tri-coloured? It was so spiky it put Nick's to shame.

And there were two of them. "Woooooah!"
