[Even the shortened trip is somewhat difficult for Ghost, a man who frequently bums rides off his employer's helicarriers/zeuses/whatever they got, so he's a little late, but he does arrive, phasing into visibility and looking down at himself immediately--the better to see telltale red.

[ That tiny little bird brain knows a white-dressed human when it sees one, and it promptly flutters down to perch with unusual bravery on Ghost's shoulder. The sharp little beak opens, and out comes Onyx's voice. ]

You probably thought I meant inside the diner. An understandable mistake. I'll meet you in the trees behind.

[ And then off it goes, darting off into the evening. ]

Hhhh. Magic. [he has had weirder... but that's not saying too much, considering.

He drifts around intangibly to the back of the building, approaching the copse of trees intangibly. It may be a trap.]

[ She's been aware of him for quite some time, although of course her lounging spot is well out of sight. It's that distinctive scent of his. It's hard to forget. ]

Yes, and no.

[ Still up until now, she allows herself to shift in the darkness and let movement define form. Solid black resolves itself into shadows and silhouettes; a wing here, a neck there. ]

'Khisanth', if you please.
