[Both cakes in hand, Nill arrives at the apartment in the early afternoon. She was doing her best to keep herself from getting too excited, not wanting to ruin her new shoes. Kanaya had given her the jeans, and she was excited to wear them for the first time. She thought the necklace would be okay if she couldn't stop her clothing from changing, though; she didn't know where it had come from, but it was in one of the boxes she'd packed the night before, so it had to be hers. Right? She'd decided to wear it, just in case it had been a mistake and someone recognized it as being theirs.]

[It was quite a bit later that Sherlock appeared at the apartment. Dressed in his familiar dark coat, with a small package under his arm, he knocked at the door.]

[Almost everything is moved in, and Nill has still managed to keep her pants from becoming anything but. She opens the door, surprised but nonetheless pleased to see Sherlock there. Her wings flap, and she steps aside, gesturing for him to enter the apartment.]

[Sherlock shakes his head.]

No. Not inside.

[Instead, he pulls out a small, wrapped package (plain grey paper, and a small blue ribbon) and hands it to her.

Inside, is a wooden puzzle, with a small note that says "find the T".]

[ kanaya can't help but offer her services in a move, her abilities give her a great capacity to facilitate such a maneuver. and so here she is, opening portals and moving items to make the whole process easier.

she brought some more outfits for nill's birthday as well, just some things to go with all those pants she can wear now ]

[ It's under doctor's orders that Kate does not do a lot of heavy lifting or anything that requires too much handling with her left arm as the stitches are still in place. She's been cautious when she heads out into the night but overall, her arm looks much better than it did the first night.

She's in the kitchen setting out plastic cups for the guests. ]

( Kate will probably notice, very quickly, when Damian enters. He stands in one corner of the kitchen, glaring at her. )

[ Oh, she does. The last time they spoke didn't go over very well (but let's be realistic, when does it ever?) though he's had a hard couple of months understandably. ]

Hello, Damian.

( Damian just crosses his arms over his chest and gives her the sternest look he can muster. )

You had better keep her safe. And happy.

[It's tricky business trying to find the right time of day to be able to help without risking too much exposure to UV rays. Thankfully winter is upon them. Shahrazad manages to make it out in time to be of some use. Right about now she's looking to see where the heavy lifting is needed. After all it was easiest for her unless Kate or someone else helping possessed super strength too.]

[ and it's with the heavy lifting that kanaya would be found, probably glowing with aggravation as she takes on a little more than she can handle. it ca be so annoying how her human form limits her strength

she eases her load for a moment to give her a chance to greet shahrazad more politely ]

Oh, hello.

[Shahrazad smiles brightly at her.] Hello! Would you like some help?

Well, I...think I have it. [ she has about five boxes stacked up, resting on her knee ]

Did you need any sort of information as to where various items are to be taken?

[Bucky actually did come to the party expecting to lift boxes. He'd gotten his arm fixed, and all, and he was serious when he told Kate that it was the gentlemanly thing to do.]

[ She almost brushes past him but she does stop to greet him. She nods mostly, since her own arms are full with a fairly light box with clothes and such. ]

Of course. Need any help with that?

[ALL SET TO ATTACK BOXES]

[ Like a good soldier. She points to one of the boxes that's been placed toward a side, then motions to the hallway. ]

That box also needs to go into the bedroom. It's the last room on the right.
