[Bullseye had spent much of the night researching and planning. He'd quickly become accommodated to navigating the network. Tracking Murdock down had been as easy as strangling a baby; he'd been practically directed to the guy's office upon his arrival. It was convenient, to say the least.

The hardest part was the wait. He'd spent all day watching and waiting, the tedium beginning to drive him a little stir crazy. Even with the coat and hat hiding his costume (which he'd taken from the still-warm corpse of a man whose throat he'd slit with a card), his bloodshot eyes had kept strangers in the street at bay.

6 o-clock. Party time.

Seeing Murdock leave the MAC, Bullseye's lips pulled into a manic grin and he stubbed out his cigarette. He yanked the collar of the trench coat higher and stepped from the alley, starting to follow his mark on the opposite side of the street.]

[Matt stopped at a small stand to pick up some flowers-- red roses, fresh cut, and he waited for the flower seller to wrap them with ribbon, purposely ignoring much of the ambient scents and sounds that echoed and bounced off the vehicles and buildings around him. He tuned so much of the world out in order to get by.

Sometimes it amazed him at how little really did catch his attention.

He was handing the vendor cash when something grabbed his attention, though. Grabbed it hard, shook it, and wouldn't let him go.

Cigarette smoke. A rare brand. A very specific brand.

He would recognize that particular scent anywhere, and the second it hit him, he felt his whole body tense up. Dozens of people made their way up and down the street, but only one of them mattered. He didn't need to turn around to search the crowd for Bullseye, all he needed to do was listen.]

[While Matt waited for the vendor, Bullseye crossed the street to the same side, though he kept a short distance--he wanted their meeting to be a little more private. Away from the crowd.

As he approached, his heart rate increased, adrenaline pumping through his veins. His trigger finger itched with anticipation and he slid his gloved hand into his coat pocket, and while he could practically taste Daredevil's blood (and maybe even he would, soon enough), he restrained himself.

For now.]

[Matt listened to every movement Bullseye made, guarding his own reactions in hopes of not giving himself away. The longer Bullseye thought he was oblivious to his presence, the better chance he had at gaining an upper hand in this.

He just had to get away from the crowds. Bullseye wouldn't hesitate to take these people out if it meant getting a clear shot at Matt, he was certain of it.

Roses clenched tightly in his hand, he started down the street again, turning casually down a less populated side street, hoping his detour would lead Bullseye that way too.]
