[Jim volunteered to drive the first leg to wherever they were going, as he figured it would be the easiest way to avoid dealing with the crammed quarters of the seats in the back. While, sure, it was a borrowed church van, it would not be comfortable sitting next to any of them for any number of hours. So, with their bags all packed in the back and various snacks and pillows and music and whateverthehellelse they need, Jim starts up the van.

[Jim's eyes go a little wide as he looks over at the map sitting between him and Pam. They haven't seen a sign for a while, so he hopes soon. Crap why are there so many colors on this map. How useless is this.]

[ curling up in the passenger seat didn't make for the most comfortable of naps, but it'd be passable, if he needed to sleep for a little while. ]

Nah, I think I can go another hour. [He looks up in the rear-view mirror before back at her.]
