Gamzee slinked in shadows, disappeared before they ended and reappeared where they began again, and mostly stayed out of sight while he made sure that those who did see him weren't people he'd have to deal with before seeing Tavros. Fortunately there was no one important he'd noticed noticing him, so he'd meet his friend without blood covering his clothes again. At least, he'd meet him without blood covering him if he could find Tavros before he got even more anxious than he already was and took it out on someone else.

Murder probably wouldn't happen since even with hiding at Luna Park Gamzee would be easy enough to spot and Tavros himself was a pretty noticeable guy, but there was a chance and Gamzee's twitching was probably a good indication of that.

The twitching encouraged most people to give Gamzee a wide berth, but for once, no one was like to bat an eye at his appearance - if anything, the greatest danger was that someone might mistake him for part of the show. The beach and many of the rides might be closed, but the park had been given over to Halloween attractions. Tourists and natives jostled to get in line for this haunted house or that performance.

Tavros had squirreled himself away in the metal framework of a decomissioned tilt-a-whirl, and anyone would have trouble finding him here. Time to use a trick he'd developed while patrolling with Redbird!

A flock of pigeons land in front of Gamzee, look up at him, and hop into arrow formation for a moment before flying off again. Just long enough to point the other troll in his friend's direction, so that Tavros can wave him over. Tense as things may have been, Tavros couldn't help but grin at the chance to show off a little.

If Gamzee had not been paying attention to the flying feathery friends he suddenly found himself staring at he might have taken more notice of, and may have even liked, the creepy clowns that were crawling the circus. As it was though, he took note instead of the arrow and followed immediately.

Face a mix of expressions, wide eyed in half excitement and attentiveness with a mouth not quite forming a smile, Gamzee came closer to Tavros. Whenever he finally saw him his mouth did finally form into smile, but it quickly went back into something more serious and thin. Much as Gamzee loved seeing his best bro their last conversation hadn't gone that well and he still didn't know what to say to his friend.

He wasn't the only one. Tavros clambered down and took a few steps into view before stopping and letting Gamzee close the distance. It was both better and worse to see Gamzee, without him talking. Better, because he could pretend that this was still his funny, not-scary friend, but worse, because that belief was fake.

Speaking of (and with) fake things, he'd been talking to Rufio about Gamzee. About everyone, really, and while he couldn't really say that confident was something he felt, he at least knew what would make Rufio most happy.

"Um, hi Gamzee. You, uh, you look like you fit right in around here."
