WHO: satisfiedsigner and donttasemebro WHERE: some park. somewhere. WHEN: Sept. 20 WARNINGS: who knows yet SUMMARY: Fun times with real monsters! FORMAT: prose?
In retrospect, maybe Bruno ought not to have made friends with so many people who had pets.
It wasn't that hard to act appropriately surprised by a large demonic-looking dog cheerfully spinting up to him as he walked through the park minding his own business; he hadn't had a lot of exposure to Kiryu's deck, and even by Duel Monster standards Infernity Beast was rather alarming. When the monster began to bound around him happily in apparent expectation of another person to play with, Bruno stiffly stood his ground and held his hands out of nipping reach while he scanned around for the "owner". Luckily Kiryu was already running up after it, so settling upon him was perfectly natural.
"Kiryu," he greeted dryly. Then, "I take it this some sort of 'powers'-related phenomenon?" he asked in a voice as stiff as his present posture.
Kiryu sped up a bit when he finally caught up with his monster and saw it was bothering someone--again--and just as quickly started slowing down again when he saw just who it was bothering. It was stupid, but he still briefly thought of Soundwave when he first saw the man before realizing who it really was.
"Oh, it's you." Kiryu stopped and made a quick gesture with his hand; Infernity Beast immediately froze and padded back over to him. "Yeah. Sorry, he really likes running off and being a menace," he said, grinning a little.
