As the woodpecker drummed on John's poor noggin, Giselle gave a little yelp, followed closely by a giggle as she reached out and gingerly plucked the troublesome bird up and away, tsking and chastising it gently before letting it hop and flutter on its own.

"Well," Giselle hummed, tilting her head curiously at John. "Have you ever invited them over to say hello before?"

"Oh..." Giselle fiddled with the wire twist-tie on her bread bag, turning the information over. "That sounds like what Rapunzel said, too...It's such a shame! Animals have a lot to say, too."

When the tie had been successfully removed, she looked up, seemingly spaced out for a minute, staring at the chipmunk in John's hair. She broke into a smile though, looking back at him. "See-- he likes the smell of your hair."
