Lily was still feeling a bit shy about walking around in a swimsuit, but in the end, she'd settled on a modest two piece suit. She wore a black scarf that matched the shorts around her collar, and eyed the volleyball nets. Perhaps she'd be able to get a game going.
Once Momiji spotted her, he came running full force across the beach and having to catch himself from falling a few times. He stops short of running into her, pausing to catch his breath but grinning widely. He followed her gaze to the nets.
"Yeah," said Lily with a little smile. She'd brought a sundress she could throw on over her swimsuit for modesty later, but it would only hinder her during a game of beach volleyball.
"Do you think everyone else would be interested? If not, that's okay...there's other things, like swimming and building sand castles."
Momiji wasn't too far off, wearing nothing but a pair of yellow and pink trunks and a scuba mask. He was leaning over, face stuck in the water, trying to look for something interesting on the ocean floor.
All the necessary makings of a fire have been gathered and standing in front of the pile is a certain blond. The air's starting to chill as night grows closer. He's determined to make a bonfire and have proper ending to the day, reminiscent of every beach-going movie he's ever seen. But this also means he must figure out the ridiculous lighter he bought, and that's proving to be more of a challenge than it should have been. He's currently shaking it wildly, in a way that is no means safe, and muttering loudly that it's broken.
Concerned, Lily approached Momiji. She didn't want him to be burned on account of the fire suddenly getting lit. Whereas if she was burned, she'd heal right away. She held her hand out for the lighter.
"Here, I can give it a try if you like," she offered.
He looked up at her, a bit embarrassed he was having so much trouble. He handed it over sheepishly, careful to make sure she took the handle and not the other end.
