[she might meet Larsa wearing the clothes that Gemma gave him wandering around. you'd be surprised how slick an emperor could be; getting people to talk to him, finding out about this "New York City" and even trying to get himself some more clothes.]

[He catches her eye right away though she does a double take to make sure it's him. It was one thing to see a person over a tiny screen but, in person it was different. She waves over at him to catch him attention.]

[Tara smiles widely for him.] Hey. Are you settling in okay?

[ Julian is out doing something he doesn't particularly like - looking for a job. He's been walking around the City without anything too specific in mind, but pretty much feeling like he needs to work something out while he's here. The MAC is great and all, but he isn't planning to stay there indefinitely, so this is a necessary evil. Plus there was that stuff Sofia said. ]

[At this point in her day Tara was fairly certain she was lost. This place was a lot busier than Sunnydale after all. While she hated to be that girl who flagged people down for directions, she'd have to make an exception this time. Guess who is the lucky person she is grabbing the attention of.]

Excuse me. Can I have a minute of your time? I think I got a little turned around.

[ Julian looks around. He takes in a polite, pretty blonde girl and gives her an immediate smile. ]

Yeah, sure, I got the time. Where are you looking for?

[She smiles politely back.] I'm looking for some schools actually. There's supposed to be a college around here somewhere but, I'm just not finding it.

[Hello, stranger. Here is one doing something similar. Although not particularly interested in the schooling aspects, Hiromi is checking out the football fields the City has to offer. He clings to a fence outside one of the schools, admiring the sports field. With his scrawny build, one might not take him for the athletic type. Especially when he is...sparkling.]

[To Tara's relief she's finally come across a school! Something catches her eye though...and probably everyone within a mile radius. A sparkling boy? How often do you see one of those?

[Hiromi is used to others whispering behind his back, saying it to his face, playing pranks on him for his general frailty... This really is nothing to him. He stares at the field a bit longer before looking away. When he looks up, he matches her gaze for a split second.]

[He drops his head and makes to shuffle away. He'd really lost his confidence, more than usual, recently.]

[Tara realizes her mistake instantly. How many times had she run away self consciously after all? She's quick to chase after him.]

[ It's not unusual for Luna to be out about the town. Or, frankly, to be skipping along as she takes in the sights. Stopping on occasion to gaze and something in a store window before continuing on her merry way. ]
