[ It's 7:30 when Olivia arrives and she spots Jim right away. She spares only a glance at the tv in the corner (what diner does not have at least one tv) but that's her only indication that she's been keeping close tabs on the riots. Not that there's a single thing she can do. It makes her feel a bit nervous and a bit relieved; it isn't her problem for once.

But she slides into the opposite side of the booth with a smile. ]

Hey. Hope I didn't make you wait.

[ The leg twitch stops and he smiles at her as she sits down. She's punctual, even when he'd said -ish. Eeenteresting. ]

Nah, I just got here a few minutes ago. How was your first night in Crazy Town?

All things considered, it wasn't bad at all. Restful, even. How'd your nth night go?

[ Meaning she got a good six hours of sleep and spent the rest of the time looking into potential jobs and reading wikipedia articles to figure out various things about how this world works. ]

It was a relatively fun-filled night spent searching the internet and getting caught up with this time period.

[ Which is pretty much all his nights, except for the ones where he can't sleep and stays up way late watching TVLand and NickatNite. ]
