[Here is Cass knocking at the door, a few minutes early and carrying a plate of chocolate chip cookies that she baked herself. They weren't terribly good, but they were actually edible for a change, so she considered them a success.]

Hey! Glad you could make it! And for more than one reason. I'm, ah, not so sure a guest of honor would be making it himself if not.

[About halfway through the party, it started to get a little too noisy for Gerry. He still didn't know most of the people who weren't spider-devil related, and that made him a bit uncomfortable after a while, so he "subtly" climbed out the window, sticking to the side of the building and watching the traffic flow underneath.]

[ It had been too noisy for Reilly ages go, so he'd already climbed out for some fresh air. At least, until his senses started tingling, causing him to look up from his wall perch a few floors below. ]

[Gerry didn't expect anybody to be out here too, and since he didn't have any spider-sense, hearing Reilly caught him off guard, but he didn't slip off the wall or anything like he used to. He smiled a little and crawled down to where Reilly was.]

Dining Room
