The change hadn't marked him waking up - at least not yet. Sirius answers with a keening sound that might have sounded like a sleepy apology, if his breath wasn't coming in quick little hitched gasps. The hand against Remus's sternum clenches and unclenches just slightly, and he makes the noise again. Dreaming, apparently, and badly ( ... )

That pulls Sirius up short, freezing him the doorway. He was been wearing dark clothing, and with his black hair, he looks a little ghostly framed by the hallway before he turns around. It was the 'please' that got him, and a quick at Remus's face.

He nods, and closes the door before coming back to the bed. It's nicer than the bed in the Shack had been, in that it wasn't broken and full of dust, but it wasn't as big, so no matter where he sat, Remus would be close by.

Sirius had no idea if this was a good or a bad thing.
