He'd gotten home minutes before, although he was still without shirt and shucking off his rubber coat. He'd put his full costume on later once he'd adjusted better to the weather change, but for now it was all too uncomfortable.

"Hey babe," he called from his bedroom, and came out to greet her.

She dropped the grocery bag by the door and followed his voice toward the bedroom to meet him halfway. She was grinning in spite of herself, she really was glad to see him, awkward as things could get with the two of them.

"Hey," she chuckled at the sight of him, raising an eyebrow. "Well, aren't you a sorry sight."

"Heh. Sorry," he said, not sorry at all. "You didn't give me enough time to change into my tuxedo."

He slid an arm around her, presuming it would be okay.
