Fortunately, there weren't any sudden spider-emergencies today, especially since, well, there were two less spiders now, so Gerry had spent most of the day just cleaning up the apartment for when Curtis arrived.

When he heard the knock on the door, he did his best to not seem so bothered, smiling as he answered the door. After all, Curtis hopefully had some really good news today. "Hey! Come on in!"

Curtis grinned when the door opened. "Gerry!" he greeted enthusiastically. "Got the food," he remarked, stepping in and lifting the bag. He glanced around the apartment and then turned to the other hero.

"So how's it goin' for ya?"

"Just set it down wherever, make yourself at home!" He shut the door behind Curtis and shoved some stuff off to the side of the table, clearing enough space for the food, then turning back to Curtis.

"It hasn't been too bad, save for all the people leaving recently," He shrugs. "How about you?

Curtis set the food down in the space Gerry made before flopping down into the nearest chair. He took just a moment to enjoy it before turning a grin back to Gerry. The grin faded quick though.

"Yeah, a lot of people all of a sudden. Anyone you know?" he asked curiously. "Me? I've been in libraries and bookstores and stuff. Think I passed out for a day from brain overload but hopefully it'll be worth it," he laughed.
