[Ladd is waiting inside his room, after being told that he's got a visitor. Of course, that can only be one person, so he's pretty happy about the visit, since it means Lua is safe.]

[In terms of appearance, Ladd is obviously not looking his best. Constrained in a straightjacket in order to prevent him from using his rather hamrful powers, no one seems to have dared go near him in the week or so that he has been arrested. He's pretty dirty, and probably fairly smelly as well, and a fine coat of stubble graces his chin as his hair has been sloppily placed over his head like a dead plant.]

[When he hears the sound of Lua entering, he immediately perks up, sitting bolt upright in his bed with one of his trademark winning smiles.]

Ah, Lua! Baby, I knew you would come!

[ She took a minute to look him over, his appearance didn't make her feel any better about this. ]

[ She forces a smile in return. ]

Sorry it took me so long.

It's not a problem, Lua! I know how upsetting it must be for you to visit such an awful place like this.

[He stops for a moment, his expression and tone turning a bit more serious.]

I apologize for getting caught over this. I hate knowing that I've left you all alone just because I killed that sneaky little bastard.

[ she walks forward to sit on the edge of the bed, after all she should try to make this visit as pleasant as possible. ]
