He’s on his way in and his head’s already on breakfast, already with Damian and that indiscretion they’re going need to talk through sometime soon, maybe even already in bed for the day when he turns his head and sees him. Sees Jason.
And just like that his heart clenches up. Hard enough that he drops the line he's holding and has to land down near the gutter. Does he want to do this now. Can he do this now.
He's pushing that half-second he has to make a decision, and finally he has to throw it to takes a sharp dive down without bothering to check his momentum. This isn't a confrontation Jason's edging his way out of. Not this time. ]

The flap of the cape alerts the vigilante to the presence of likely another Bat and he turns to see what appears to be Bruce swooping down. Crap. Crap. Jason didn't plan this, but he's not about to just run away like a scared kid. Still, he's not about to be caught flat-footed and his hand goes to his pistol just when he notices there's something different.
Not Bruce.

On the one hand, she really, really, really didn't want to have a conversation with anyone, let alone this jerk, about her past. On the other hand, she really wanted to kick his ass for the last time they met.]"The importer's just letting in all the assholes, isn' ( ... )

Yeah, she thinks that the percent asshole per capita was a little low. So here I am.
[He holds out his arms and shrugs. Some days he really enjoys being who he is.]

Right. So, you've identified the problem. 'Cause you know, I wouldn't want you to have any identity issues about your douchebaggery when I lay your ass out.
[She couldn't help but use the big game talk, even though she knew he was already on to that strategy of hers. It didn't matter though, because all she really wanted to do was punch him in the face.]

Let's see how much bite you have to go with that bark.
[He's excited by the idea of a real fight, despite the fact that he's still bruised and bloodied from his last encounter with Bruce. Hell, his emotional state was still unsteady, bursting at the seams with emotion as well.]
