It's not far at all. They, after all, live in the same building, and Terra sends a be right down in return before she reaches the stairwell. She has to let Zelgadis know where she's headed first, a change in her usual habit of simply going as she pleases. Considering the last private summons like this started the encounter with someone trying to kill her, it's to be expected for now.

She just simply doesn't mention who's doing the requesting by name. Terra knows very little about Zelgadis and Zevran's previous meeting, but she knows he would have put up more of a fight if he knew it was for that elf, but Terra feels a little obligated. After all, he was kind enough to her in their earlier encounter, and white magic is hardly a strain for her.

It's only a few minutes later that she arrives at the designated apartment, sparing only a breath's capture before knocking. She hopes there will be no fighting, but she's prepared enough for it.

In retrospect, ripping the stitches was a bad idea. By the time Zevran limps over to the door and opens it, blood has soaked through both the bandages and his pants. Fortunately, he's already more or less convinced himself that ripping the stitches was totally an accident. "My dear, you do yourself no service by standing outside. I have invited you, and you are the one doing me a favor. Come in."

His words are as calm as ever, but he leans rather heavily on the wall.

She crosses the threshold with a simple nod for greeting, though it less for pleasantries and more for visual appraisal. (Not the kind of look-over Zevran would prefer, no doubt, but there are priorities, and also Terra doesn't do that sort of thing anyway.) The blood catches her attention first, her eyes flicking between it and the rest of him. It seems to be the only wound. If that's the case, she won't even need to push into the higher tiers.

This is simple enough. "Returning a kindness," she corrects, the warm heat of white magic gathering in a subtle, gentle glow in her hands.

And simple as that, when she murmurs the word cure, the power transforms from white glow to a burst of green sparks, picking not only at the gash, but the rest of his leg, both of them, his arms, anywhere there's even a touch of pain or fatigue.

The star flecks fade slower than their arrival, but not a slow action. Even so, Terra's arms hang to her sides by then, no glow remaining at all.

"That do it?"

It's an extraordinarily deep wound, down to the bone and out the other side of the leg, and so it may take more out of Terra than she expected at first--but all the same, when she's done, Zevran is blinking at her in surprise. "That's most potent healing magic, Terra. You have my gratitude."

But for all that he was in pain, he still listened to what she said, so after a beat, he says quietly, "Now, what is this about a kindness done? I'm rarely told such a thing." He glances at the door. "You may close that, if you wish." There's no hint of innuendo in his voice. She just healed him for free; he's not going to try to make her uncomfortable or confused.
