Curtis sank down next to Tom, looking tired. He smiled when Tom nudged him and nodded. "Let's start things off with a rum and coke," he said with a nod.
Tom nodded and waved over the bartender, ordering two rum and cokes and handing one over to Curtis. He looks a little concerned once he notices how tired the other looks, though. "Still feeling a bit tired?" He takes a sip of his drink. "You didn't really fight the entire week at the porter, did you?"
Curtis accepted the drink with a nod of thanks and quickly took a swig. "Yeah, I am," he replied with a smile. "Well I was there from the moment that stupid speech happened," he remarked. "I have awhile when it was nice and quiet. I just sat in there and waited. Then those two idiotic little witch girls showed up and let the mobs in," he sighed. "Then it was fighting the whole time. I'm glad back up showed up when it did or I would have gotten overrun."
Tom can't help but feel a little bad about not helping out with the whole fight, since he didn't think that fanboys would have been able to put up much of a fight... At least the ones he'd run into hadn't. And he didn't know how he felt about the porter nearly being destroyed. He wanted to go home at some point, probably, but at the same time, he had some pretty good stuff going on here now too.
And he definitely didn't want everyone to be sent home if it meant that Curtis had to die.
"You can call me if you ever need any help." He smiles and downs the rest of his drink in one swig. "I'll be your backup anytime, man."
