Billy raised an eyebrow at Teddy. "You're not going to like... lock her up in a closet or something because she asked me to prom, right?" he teased.

Just then a knock came at the door. Kate stood in the hallway, in her costume still. She looked worn out, bow held awkwardly between her knees as she pulled her hair into a messy ponytail while she waited for an answer.

"Well I'm not even sure if I've got a closet here," Teddy replied teasingly. He looked up at the knock and quickly wiped his face with a napkin. Walking over, he pulled the door open and smiled.

"Hey, Kate."

Billy got up and made his way to the door, following Teddy to greet their friend. He smiled and gave her a little wave. "Hey, Kate. How are you holding up...?" he asked, slightly concerned by how tired she looked.
