Okay, when Johnny had heard about this free amusement park thing, he'd never even imagined it'd be something like this.

This was KaibaLand. Like the real for serious original KaibaLand! Like out of history vids and movies and stuff! There was no way this time travel thing could possibly get any cooler.

Johnny left his d-board and helmet at the storage place by the entrance and immediately took off like a rocket. He wanted to see everything!

Johnny skidded to a halt and snapped his head around almost as soon as he got 'hey you''d. "Huh??"

Once he saw that yes indeed this kid was coming at him, he blinked. "... You mean me?" he asked, and just stared and hesitantly pointed to himself.

"Yeah!" Kiryu skidded to a stop and gave Johnny a bright, friendly smile. he'd been wrong a couple times so far, but it was still worth asking. "Are you from Neo Domino?"

"Oh!" Johnny smiled brightly right back at him. "Yeah, I am!! You are too?" Ruka had said there were a couple more people from Neo Domino here, but he hadn't met any besides her yet! This was great!

That just made Kiryu more excited. He liked Alastair and Bakura well enough, but they weren't really from his home. This was much better. "Uh-huh! I live in Satellite right now, but I was born in the city. I'm Kyosuke!"

"Oh! That's cool." Johnny didn't really get why this guy was making a distinction, nobody really talked about Satellite as anything other than another City district except in history class, but whatever.

"My name's Johnny! I live in Tops," he said cheerfully, and stuck his hand politely to shake Kyosuke's. "Nice to meetcha!"
