When Equius arrived he was careful about knocking; he tapped the door gently, although the wood splintered under his fist. Displeased, he pushed it open. Why the highblood left it ajar he could only wonder; it was reckless, if anything. Anyone could come in looking for him, especially after all the things Gamzee had done.

He stepped on a horn, and jumped slightly in surprise, face beginning to sweat.

He didn't hear the splitting wood under Equius's nor the creak of the door. The horn made him, like Equius, jump. Gamzee jumped a little further than he did though. When he whirled around only to see Equius there he calmed down a little. He wasn't sure who else he should have expected, but something in the back his head told him that he was lucky.

And he dwelt on that no further, instead his thoughts turned happily to the fact that his friend had come after all. He noticed Equius sweating, but didn't care about it at all.

Instead he laughed a little and grinned at him.

"Glad you could all motherfuckin' make it, brother."

"Yes, well, I couldn't very well let you go hungry." Equius scowled at the floor, kicking the offending horn out of his way. Gamzee was indeed back to his regular infuriating self, but Equius did have to admit (inwardly, to himself and only himself) that it was for the moment preferable to having Gamzee threaten his close companions. If he'd been killing humans, perhaps it would be more noble...

Regardless. He held sandwiches in his arm, not that he particularly knew what they were. He'd simply wandered into the nearest sustenance establishment and demanded the first thing he'd spotted on the menu.

"Here. I suppose this is meant to be nutritious. Certainly better for you than pies."

"Aw, bro, you didn't - " have to do that, no Equius probably wouldn't be happy to hear that. He was still stoned out of his mind, but he was still a bit more perceptive than he'd been the last time he was stoned. Equius probably needed something more encouraging.

"Heh, thank you, Equius, you're all at being a pretty good motherfucker."

Gamzee stuffed one of the sandwiches in his mouth and left one for Equius, if there were anymore he was going to gather them up and stuff them in the freezer. The fridge had too many Faygos to fit anything else.

As he went about his business Gamzee finished his food and then asked, "Uh, brother, can I all ask you something?"
