[ He'd been tense and quiet since they'd met up for patrol-- enough to make even Robin shut up after a while. Not really a night for talking, came the message, loud and clear. So she'd been content just to fight alongside him, and how come no one had ever told her that it was so stressful keeping such a close eye on your partner? Not that she doesn't have faith in his abilities -- she's just more or less sure that someone's going to end up a little more broken than necessary tonight if she doesn't watch out.

Someone like that guy, maybe. So watch out she does, eying Terry's current victim even as she brings down her own with a couple acrobatic, flipping kicks. Maiming wasn't so bad, but this guy wasn't exactly a hardcore murderer. Burglarizing a hardware store didn't really warrant that many broken bones, after all. ]

[Terry grabbed one of the few men behind him - it had been a little group, almost a mini gang, not all that many members, maybe an initiation.

He didn't care. They were there, and that (at the moment) was the important thing.

Terry tweaked the gravity of the man he'd just grabbed by the wrist, and used the newfound leverage to swing him even harder than he would have normally, over his shoulder and into the man in front of him. Just before he hit he adjusted his personal gravity again, so he hit like a ton of bricks, and both hit the ground harder than they should have.

Which took care of that group.]

Come on, Robin.

[His voice was much colder and harder than usual.]

[ Yep. It's an authentic Bat Bad Mood. And it's not like this particular Robin harbors any kind of concern for the members of the criminal underworld, but, well... if this particular Batman does anything he might regret later, she'll probably feel bad.

She's after him with a sigh, springing along lightly behind.

Don't wanna talk about it, right. [ it's hardly even a question. They're bats. ]

[His voice is calm and level, but there's still an undercurrent down there that's not too difficult to hear, not for anyone who knows him.]

What's there to talk about?
