Geddoe was, for his part, just hanging around shirtless. Not because he was feeling particularly warm and breezy, or to impress anyone of either sex, no. It was far more practical - he was trying to change the dressing on his wound. Baroona hadn't stabbed him too deeply, but it was enough of an injury that required tending regularly. Now that he had actually stopped at a drugstore and stocked up on bandages, he could properly take care of it, but doing so by himself was proving...a pain in the ass.

Perhaps that was why a bout of loud cursing erupted from his apartment, after he dropped the bandages for the fifth time. Geddoe wasn't prone to rages but there was a certain amount of frustration involved in wrapping a stab wound to the back that just inspired cursing. It was a requirement.

It would've been great to have any sense that Geddoe wasn't even there, but it was hard to ignore the obscenities from the other side of the door he was approaching. And considering the last time that someone he knew made a loud fuss...

Needless to say, Zelgadis was at the door pretty fast, ready to practically kick the thing in, bristling.

"Geddoe-?!"

Geddoe's head came up fast, and his hand reached for Wild Geese instead of the roll of bandages, but a heartbeat later he recognized the voice behind the intrusion and relaxed. "Zelgadis," he said by way of greeting, settling back down onto his chair. "No, really, come in, I insist," he added sarcastically.

It didn't sound like mass destruction in there, thankfully. But Geddoe's dry invitation wasn't overly inviting; Zelgadis hesitated, still poised for danger, but with a very bewildered, uncertain look on his face.

Jeez. He already sounded pissed, so it was probably not a good idea to ignore the offer...

Zelgadis pulled the door open (oh yeah, he singed that lock ages ago, didn't he? woops.), peering in with a growing grimace.

"Uh..."
