Reilly was walking down the alley, head held high, on the alert for something. It was habit, really, an unquestioned assumption that he should always be listening to his spider-sense.

Until he spotted Cass. Then his serious expression mutated into a smile. "Hey. Are you sure this is the right place? This seems more like it's suited for patrolling than sparring."

His powers of observation completely missed the keychain.

"Yes," she replied with a grin. She snatched the cute little birdie keychain mid-spin and pressed down on its head. A doorway in the otherwise-ordinary brick wall slid open, revealing the living room of Cass's secret apartment. It had all the distinctly-Cass fixtures: clothes lying around haphazardly, some empty cans of soda on a table next to the couch, a guitar in the corner, and a couple busted punching bags lying against the wall.

She motioned for him to follow her in before abruptly stopping at the entrance. "Oh. Um. Turn off communicator." The odds of being tracked were much lower without Babs, but she still didn't want to risk Charlie or any other members of their extended family stumbling upon her private hideout.

He took a step back. Tried his best to pretend like this was no surprise, at all, and of course he was expecting to enter her secret apartment. "O-okay," he managed to get out, turning off his communicator as he started following her -- tiptoeing around the junk and clothes and who knew what else.

"We're, um." Reilly paused, doing a double-take at the punching bags. "Still sparring. Right?" Then he quietly pulled his hoodie over his face hoping Cass wouldn't notice its sudden redness, now that he realized how that sounded.

Hiding his face didn't really do any good--she could tell by his body language. Not that she really understood why he was reacting that way, though. She just gave him a curious expression.

"Yes." She lead him to a room adjacent to the living area, with a matted floor and some weight training equipment against one of the walls. And, of course, a few more broken punching bags.
