[Luckily, Baroona's not a psychic. He's just a normal, ordinary tagalong watching Blue's back. (And smoking. Always smoking.) Of course, he was sure Blue could handle himself just fine if the situation somehow erupted into a weirdo brain-speaking fight or something. Baroona wasn't concerned about that. He was concerned with how Blue would handle the actual conversation with the guy who had bee, apparently, responsible for all the drama going on. Which was why he was here. To cut in if necessary and... do something to calm the situation.

He'd think of how when the situation happened. Until then, he's just lagging behind Blue, studying everything about the cell and feeling slightly uncomfortable at the sight of cells.]

[despite any prior protest or assurances, Blue really was grateful for Baroona following along. if not for a friendly presence, then simply because he could anchor his senses. that facility was a long series of windowless halls and bleakness way too familiar to his earliest memories; it had put him on edge when he visited last, trying to help Yusuke out of a pinch.

now he was walking into another one, it seemed. but not without reason. even before stepping inside he could feel it - the confusion that belonged to Keith Anyan, of all people. the one person he'd had to fear most as an adversary had always been the one person he couldn't read at all, and now...

well. now he was just going to have to try and understand what was happening. and beyond that, for Leo's sake...ensure no future danger could come from him.

still, it was hard to keep a stern look as he drew closer, and when they finally arrived at Keith's cell, Blue's expression was very mixed and muddled, more doubtful than anything.]

[Footsteps. They bring Keith out of his dreary darkness. He jerks his head up, opening his eyes--]

Matsuka?

[But it's not. It's a young man he doesn't recognize, and...one he does.]

...No. Soldier Blue.

[He slowly rises to his feet and walks over to the bars.]

Thank you for coming.

[Baroona, not wanting to interfere, remains behind Blue, standing closer to the door. For a moment, he watched Blue before quickly snapping his gaze onto Keith. It was instinct, really. Always watch the threat and not the one you're protecting. Nevertheless he's not going to stop staring at you until they leave, Keith.]
