Six more...and her pen is suddenly a great big red quill. It still writes, but the ink smells suspiciously like strawberry jam.

There is a wizard about.

Eleanor genuinely thought something was wrong with her head when she went to press the pen to the page and it was just a feather. She frowned at it for a couple seconds, and then held it up closer to her face to sniff at it. She'd never had strawberry jam, but she did at least recognize the smell of strawberries.

Her pen was a feather. That smelled of strawberries.

After a couple seconds she just sighed and shook her head, sitting up a bit straighter in her chair. She kept holding the feather though. "Sirius?"

Because it was almost painfully obvious, really.

He is not a subtle man, no.

There's a tapping at her window, and lo and behold on the other side of the glass a man on a hovering motorbike is grinning in the evening light.

She shook her head as she set the feather down and moved over to the window, pushing it open. She hadn't spoken to him since a few days after his return...hadn't particularly wanted to, honestly.

"What do you want, Sirius?"
