[ Spidey's been having a boring patrol, which is the only reason he's bothered to stop on the rooftop opposite and watch the kid who's just left the gym. But now that he's looking, he realizes the guy looks familiar. It takes a moment to place Bucky because Peter's only ever seen him years older or in black and white with a mask on, but place him he does.

He watches him walking down the street for a few moments before he shrugs to himself and bounds across the street, landing on the lamppost right above Bucky's head. ]

Hey! It's Bucky, right?

[ He plays out a webline until he's hanging upside-down, just above eye level. ]

Bit late for cardio, isn't it?

[It takes a bit of effort for Bucky to maintain a neutral look. He doesn't like people surprising him. It's real hard to do, or it would be, if he remembered that in this place you had to remember to look up. Anyway, he tries to play it cool. "Oh, Spider-man, upside down, in my face? No big deal, happens all the time."]

Maybe I'm just not much of a morning person?

[This is a lie. He is definitely a morning person, who is up at five every morning annoying the bejeezus out of those with more sensible sleep schedules. But Bucky will work out any time he can't think of anything else better to do.]

I was just thinking that I really should have a conversational topic in mind before I start bugging people -- no pun intended.

[He laughed a bit, at that. Bucky was easing into the conversation a bit more genuinely.]

I don't mind puns, you know. [He is after all a sidekick character from the 1940s.]
